This summer marked the 30th Anniversary of when Elvis left the building. The UK watched as BBC ONE marked the occasion with the prime time TV show The World's Greatest Elvis hosted by Vernon Kay.

Millions of viewers tuned in as the top 30 Elvis tribute artists from around the world went head-to-head in a bid to be crowned "The World's Greatest Elvis".

THE WORLD'S GREATEST ELVIS CONCERT

PART 1 – YOUNG ELVIS
In the 1950’s a young and dangerous Elvis Presley burst onto the scene with his pure hip swiveling rock ‘n’ roll. His talent, good lucks and unprecedented charisma endeared him to millions as he single-handedly changed the face of popular music forever.

PART 2 – 1968 COMEBACK SPECIAL
After filming for the last nine years in Hollywood, a revitalized Elvis, dressed in black leather, went back to his roots and let flow all the old magic in the greatest musical comeback of all time.

PART 3 – THE LAS VEGAS/ALOHA YEARS
Dressed in his famous white jumpsuit, this was an era when Elvis would perform at his very peak. His arrival on stage would be heralded by an awesome fanfare with flashing lights and an adoring crowd would erupt in a frenzy of excitement.
