Recruitment
The Octagon
is looking to recruit the following posts:
Parking
Pals (voluntary position)
Your
Octagon needs YOU! Volunteers required
If you
fancy getting involved with a local, award-winning
theatre but you’re not keen on ‘treading
the boards’, Bolton’s Octagon Theatre
might have just the opportunity you’re looking
for.
The Octagon
is looking to recruit enthusiastic and responsible
individuals to join its small team of committed volunteers.
Throughout the theatre’s glittering 40th Anniversary
Season, which spans September 2007 to July 2008, the
Octagon needs a number of volunteers to be in charge
of operating a validation machine for car park chips,
which will be situated in the theatre’s William
Hare Bar pre-show and during the interval. One volunteer
is required per performance evening, and the Octagon
is hoping to recruit enough volunteers to keep each
person’s commitment to one evening per fortnight.
The car
park chip validation machine is easy to use, and training
will be given to all volunteers. Additionally, each
person will receive free parking during their working
hours, and will get to see the show as an added incentive!
With productions this season including Oh What A Lovely
War featuring Matthew Kelly, festive favourite A Christmas
Carol and Arthur Miller’s classic The Crucible,
it’s a season well worth volunteering for!
If you have
one evening per fortnight that you can dedicate to
the Octagon, contact the Octagon Stage Door staff
on 01204 529407 and leave your details.
Volunteers will be required regularly from the week
commencing 3 September and expected to commit their
time throughout the 40th Anniversary season until
July 2008.
