How do two seventeen stone studious types end up as the darlings of Pro-Wrestling?
Timid academics Jack and Jeff had hopes for glittering careers in the theatre, until the local council pulled their grant. With no jobs, no girls and a life of walk-on roles and dodgy takeaways beckoning, they resort to putting their performing talents to good effect on an altogether different stage - a wrestling ring.
Surprisingly, Jack and Jeff find that they have a natural gift for body slams and forearm smashes, and are soon thrilling the baying crowds with their novel names and outlandish gimmicks.
This was a brand new
grappling, physical comedy, written and directed by master of
mirth, John Godber.
