Vicky Binns

Vicky Binns is one of Britain's best loved actresses, most known for her roles in the long running ITV soap operas Emmerdale and Coronation Street.

Vicky made her television debut as the regular character of Tash in the popular kids drama series Children's Ward for Granada. She then went on to secure the radio series regular role as Anna in BBC's King Matt and then appeared as Anne Marie in Nature Boy, directed by Joe Wright also for the BBC.

It was in 1999, when Vicky landed the role of Ollie Reynolds in the long running series Emmerdale that she really rose to prominence. Vicky was an immediate hit with the viewers and ended up playing the role for over four years - leaving in 2003. On her departure she was cast as the lead role of Jade, alongside Caroline Quentin, in the ITV drama Von Trapped.

Alongside her numerous television work, Vicky has appeared regularly in theatre in plays such as Dave and Jeff (24/7 Theatre / Bolton Octagon), Teechers and Perfect Pitch for Hull Truck Theatre  company, I'm Mad Me as part of J.B shorts and The Ushers for Rain Dog theatre company.

In 2005 Vicky joined the cast of Coronation Street as Molly Compton and ended up playing the part for five years. During her time on 'the Street' Vicky's character was involved in some of the soaps most popular storylines culminating in the explosive 'tram crash' episode which was watched by over 13 million people and went on to win
numerous awards.

She has just completed a guest lead in BBC's Casualty playing
Angie.

Vicky also voices for a regular Children's series called Susie Pugh and A Monster Too for Radio/pod cast and hopefully soon in animation.

She is delighted to be appearing at the Octagon Theatre Bolton for the second time.
