Soft
As A Brush
Text and Story: Chantal Loiseau and Paul Harman
Performed by: Chantal Loiseau Directed by: Paul Harman
A storyteller-actress makes playful use of an amazing range of household objects, large and small, new and old, to create a rich and varied cast of characters.
Headteacher Clock is worried. Billy doesn’t fit in. He is as soft as a brush – well, he is a brush. All the other brushes at Brass Street School can do the shining and chiming and timing much better than Billy. Until Marigold helps him to find out what he is good at. When someone new and very
different arrives, Billy makes friends, because
he knows how it feels to be on your own.
Can brushes and bells, a glove and a bear find ways to get along? Of course they can. There are rhymes, songs and a few French words to help them on their way!
